Skill-Based Therapy Groups

From the Heart Therapy’s skill-based therapy groups for kids are designed to nurture communication, social skills, and peer interactions within a supportive environment.

These groups feature structured activities and games that encourage children to practice taking turns, actively listening, and expressing themselves clearly. Facilitators, trained therapists and educators, guide the groups to ensure each child feels included and valued. Through these interactions, children learn to navigate social cues, develop empathy, and build friendships.

Our groups include mommy and me classes, bilingual book reading, music classes, crafts, school readiness and peer interaction. These groups offer a safe space for children to grow and thrive socially.

Children participating in these groups will learn:

Peer interaction and communication

Develop age-appropriate skills

Academic readiness

Attention/hyperactivity reduction

Nutrition and feeding skills

Gross motor and fine motor skills

Self-regulation and sensory integration

*All of our services are facilitated by certified therapists and educators
